Bye Bye Hurricane Fay!!

Hey You,

Well we survived our first hurricane, or should I say the edge of a hurricane. We had lots of wind and rain, we lost a tree and a chime, and our poll was decorated with a lot of debris. We did alright, mostly scared of the anticipation and fear we gained from other people that told us how bad it was going to get. Anyway, we made it and its over!!

If anyone reads this, I hope you made it okay too and your families are all safe. God Bless!

Its is Wednesday

Hey;

We took the kids to Wannado, at the mall today. its alot of fun..usually..today they had 10-14 school buses full of kids there. And they had very little supervision, running around, knocking people out of the way, stepping on your toes, cutting in line at the rides, one of them even put my grand daughter on a carousel, by herself....I was terrified. I thought my daughter took her, and she thought I had her, horrible couple of minutes, but I spied her and jumped on the carousel with her, she's only 2 years old. We said something to one of the supervisors, he said they were all there before us and it was okay for them to cut in line. And apparently anything else they wanted to do. We actually cut the afternoon short, toooo many wild kids and ours got cranky!!!!

Gotta go, time for some more Olympics! God Bless...Linda

Good Morning Monday

Another Monday morning, I had a great weekend. Mostly with my gran kids, but some time to myself too. I walked around Target, and probally spent too much money!! But, I had a good time and it gave me something to do. I really need to get out and meet some people, it is very hard here. People don't act like they want to make new friends or even talk to you. Well, not all of them, but most!! Have a beautiful blessed day, God Bless.....

Hey

Hi,

It is another cloudy day here. Met no one still, people here just aren't very friendly, and if you say Hello to them, they act like your trying to steal their wallets. Oh well, I suppose it will happen sooner or later. I did see another Lady from Missouri today, but she didn't wave back either.

Everyone went out to dinner tonight, except me and Chloe, they have company again, for the next 5 days. But, me and [2 yr old, grand daughter] Chloe like to spend our time together anyway! We didn't want to eat out, we have more fun staying here and eating what ever we want!!!!

Take care, God Bless.....Linda

Another day, another DAY

Hi Someone!

I got to take my grand son, Quinn, to Karate camp this morning. He gets so excited, and he makes sure our not going to hang around. He is funny, I'll pick him up in a little while and go get him some McD. The my grand daughter, Chloe, and I went to walk around Wal-Greens and pick up some healthy snacks [ Yea, I know they wanted chocolate, but nuts and pretzels and fruit snacks do just fine!]

By the way, the roast beef last night was to die for, Everyone ate themselves silly. Not bragging, just facts. And of course the best part is....leftovers!! Had some for lunch!

Chloe and Brina [my daughter] are swimming right now, and I'm going to get Quinn. Take care, God Bless and have a wonderful day.

It is going to rain AGAIN

Hello,

Anyone home? Oh Well, I am used to talking to myself! I hope everyone is having a splendid day. It is getting ready to rain, a lot of rumbling going on. I never have like storms, especially with a lot of lightening and thunder.

I making roast, potatoes, carrots, and gravy for supper, anybody want some? I like to cook, not the best in the world but it is usually edible!

Okay, Talk to somebody--someday--later. God Bless, take care.

Good Day Sunshine in Florida

Hi All [all who?],
Anyway, I am having a quite, nice day. Playing with Chloe and cooking beans for dinner {I'll making sweet cornbread too} and just hanging around. I guess I missed a Doctor's appointment this morning..didn't even know I had an appt. Oh well, I made another one for the 12th.
I answered my first Poll today. "Do you think Angelina and Brad's new babies are worth paying 14 million for us to see them?" Ugh, No. You and I both know, pictures will surface, if we're patient. Why give them more money than they already have? I heard that they are donating it to charity, but it still fells like selling yourself. I don't know it just doesn't seem quite right!
Oh well, who knows, maybe I would have sold my pictures if someone would have offered me 14 million. Who know until it happens! God Bless, be safe. Linda

Monday Blues

Hi Me,
This is a picture of my grand son, Quinn, breaking his board at Karate. He'll get his yellow belt soon, he is so excited!!
I had to go to the hospital for an appointment this morning, early. But, they didn't get me in on time, then she forgot to come and unhook me from the machine, 5 minutes after the alarm went off.
So, I unhooked my self...she just kept saying she was sorry that she'd forgetten me. Oh well, maybe it will keep her on her toes for the next patients of the day. I find going to the hospital very defeative. They just keep finding new things wrong with me, but it doesn't seem like we find any cures or much help for them. It is pretty disheartening. Guess it just goes along with getting OLD.
I hope who ever takes the time to read this, has a wonderful, fantastic day!!! Blessings to you....Linda

Yea, Saturday.....oh yeh, I have nothing to do!!!!!!!!!

Well, its saturday and so far all I've done is try to finish the book I've been reading for a week. It's going slow.

I did hear back from my old friend, Donna. She doesn't sound like she's changed much. They are trying to adopt their two grand sons, that should keep them young! Wonderful to hear from old friends.........any new ones out there?

Guess I'll go try and find the new church I saw on the internet. Looks interesting on paper, maybe I'll give it a try. Well, have a blessed day, hope to hear from someone...sometime!!!!
